CCA Conservation Banquet - East Cooper Chapter

Alhambra Hall was the familiar setting for the East Cooper CCA Conservation banquet. A lovely afternoon beckoned saltwater anglers of all ages out to support the Coastal Conservation Association's Mount Pleasant Chapter. Executive Director Scott Whitaker and Chapter reps Pete Loy and John Gourdin helped to set up a raffle, silent auction and live auction in order to raise funds for CCA's South Carolina programs, like the Top Water Action Team. An open bar and catered food by Charleston Bay Gourmet greeted everyone and fishing stories were swapped over and over again as the crowd mingled. All sorts of saltwater gear were available on the silent auction and raffle, while the live auction offered many hunting and fishing trips. Vacation getaways to Edisto beach and Saluda, North Carolina were also auctioned off. Lowcountryoutdoors.com is glad to support the conservation of our marine resources and salutes CCA's local efforts.
